Eh. Liife goes on.

So um. For the past 6 months or so I have been mostly living with my parents. I did a few school courses that didn't need me to be at the school everyday. I failed them all basically, but still got credit. Here is mostly what came out of them.

On the other hand I got hired back on the Iron Sky project (as I was just am unpaid intern before). I'm moving to tampere next week and hopefully staying there untill the movie is done. I will be going back to school after that since I still have about half a year to go.

In other news. I ran out of ideas with blastwave and haven't thought about it much so that is why that is still not updating. Trying to get another comic going at somepoint hopefully. Have an idea with a friend of mine that I'm hoping I find the energy to do some day now. Probably would be a while till that sees the light of day though.

  1. But I like blastwave. It honestly reminds me of metro 2033, and I would to see it continue on.

Either way, love your work, hang in there.

Just discovered you today. I like your art style and while it makes me sad I won't get to see more of the reds dropping stuff on people, I'm happy I'll see more work from you.

What art style will the new comic be in? The weird painted look that Blast Wave had or the other style seen in TGSA?

I prefer the Blast Wave art myself, very unique.

  6. honestly, you dont exploit blastwave as you could. you could earn tons of money with that.
a short film is already there, you could expand more, gain more fans. eventually come company would ask you for a permission to make a game. of course you could make even more $$$
BUT you could go even further-you could make it famous just like any famous story
    (like star wars?)
there are so much unexploited possibilities...
hope blastwave gets what it deserves!

Its people like you [Amilo] that ruin everything. Everything isn't about money its not about fame or anything of the sort all the time. Some people just like doing things for fun and if fun isn't had while doing it, then by all means one should stop and wait a while until it is again.

Once something you enjoy feels like a chore, its no longer pleasure, but a job.

  11. As much as i love Blastwave i can understand how difficult it is to do somehing you're sick of.
I really do wish there was a Blastwave fps pc game though.
Pick a side and weapon kit, get thrown into a huge city in your own sides deployment zone, and go fight over objectives.
With big moths flying around and multi-legged rats (health regen?) and funny quotes by players/npc's ("Friggin nutjob") i would love it!
And AFAIK there's no humour/fps games around.

  12. hang in there Kimmo... Iron Sky looks like an awesome project, then it's 6 months of school, then you're on your way to being famous! i'm sure when you have nothing else to do the inspiration will come and it will be awesome :)
