So like uhh... Yeah.
I was under the impression that I was free to renew the blastwave domain at anytime in the 30 days after it expired with the normal price... like it used to be. Apparently due to some new stuff happening that I was not aware of... it now costs 160 dollars.
Now I'm trying to decide if its really worth that, or if I should gamble with trying to get it back once it's released to the wild.
Erggh.

Hrr
I guess I should start getting back into doing stuff.
Only roughly 2 weeks of vacation this summer. I have managed to avoid summer jobs and such before this and usually had the full 2 months free. In these past few days it felt like I really NEEDED those 2 months. But now, after just basically lying in bed for 4 days... I think I'm okay.
Back to work on the moon thing. Some other competition has been found to replace the old one, but I forgot what it was now. There shouldn't be much left to do on it anyways.
If nothing horrible comes up once school starts (I suspect the first class is pretty easy going) I'll probably try to finish my now almost half a year old dwarf animation. Also starting to paint again.
In other news:
The Blastwave domain is going through a yearly ritual of death and rebirth. Don't worry about it.

District 9 comes to finland on the 28th. I try to see it then.

Blah
It became clear that the animation wont be done on time.
We were running a bit behind schedule, but it still looked like we could pull it off. But in the end we ran into more serious problems with rendering and more importantly a particularly lazy team member.
Rather than make a huge crunch to get a quite possibly a poor quality short done, we decided to give up on taking it to Assembly and will work on it for a longer period. We're looking for some other possible contest, even though Assembly would still propbaly have had the best audience for such a thing.
I am dissapoint. And will now leave for Porvoo and to sweden on thursday.
