Slowly moving forward.

First of all. The fate of the blastwave domain is still unclear at this point, I decided not to pay 160 dollars for it, and I think it's beyond redemption already anyways (in the literal sense). In a few more days I'll know if can regain it or not. Whatever happens with it, this address will be functional for at least a year. Now stop being so over dramatic about it.

I have like 3 projects underway right now. And a few more lingering things I wanna get to at some point. A few more commissions popped up while a few were on hold already!

But before I get to do anything, I need to get the goddamn astronaut thing done. My portion of the work should be done this week. No news on publishing date. It feels like this thing has been keeping me from doing anything fun for a month now.

I saw District 9. It was fucking great. The story could have been a tad better and they could have explained just a bit more... but robot suit makes up for that.

  1. District 8, eh? So they came out with the prequel that fast? Well, I was wondering what the aliens were up to for those three months.

On a more srs note, yes, District 9 was awesome. Seriously, as soon as you have a battlesuit in a movie, it has a 67.2% better chance of being a winner.

  3. District 9 was a great movie. I agree with you that the story could've been touched up a bit more. I don't understand why, but, I found it lacking in a few areas as far as explaining.

Probably the reason, most of the story/interviews with the aliens were left out from the trailers.

  6. that's awesome. :D
Also, I think you're prediction (or possibly decleration) - "That should take care of 2009. See you in 2010!" - was more true than I had even expected...

  8. Ack! I never knew that a comic book version was released, and both Adlibris and Amazon are sold out. Sand panda. Will there be a second print, perhaps with all strips, and not just the first 32?

  9. You can still order them from the site. We just don't ship them to other sellers anymore since that eats the small profits we get.

Seriously doubt there will be a second print.

  10. incidentally, your RSS/ Atom feeds all still point to the non-working domain, you have to manually change them to get the feed to work...

Try not to constantly whine about blastwave.
