Cortex Command

I returned to my old Cortex Command models while I was looking for something effects heavy to do so I'd get to play around with After Effects.

I came up with this idea revolving around using the teleporter from the new version as silly base defence mechanism. Eventually the idea sort of went beyond that isolated little shot and I planned out the entire sequence.

Now, I'm moooost likely not doing any of this, but here's the storyboards!



There's supposed to be text explaining whats going on, but bler.

  1. Instead of grenades it should be crabs, I'm sure you know of the crab bombs.

    Also what do you think of the 23rd build of CC?

  2. I sense our government spilling out your summer booze funds for this one, if you can regain contact with your inner sly fox. It could be a blast for a CC animation, and think team could be glad to use it as promo material. And crabs, definitely, involve crabs somewhere!

    But hey, explosions are fun too: you could somehow simulate the in-game physics engine and make pieces fly in a similar manner as in the game in the the final scene.
